Croatian's national carrier Croatia Airlines offers regular scheduled flights to most major European cities although it does not currently fly to Ireland.

Coming from central Europe, you can reach some of the coastal destinations faster by car than by train. During the summer months traffic at the borders can be heavy. To enter and drive in Croatia, you will require a green insurance card and valid national or international driving permit. Tolls are payable for driving on Croatian motorways.
The rail network connects all major Croatian cities, except Dubrovnik. There are direct lines to Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro. There are indirect lines to almost all other European countries.
